It is a perfect time!

Summers are when you don't have a rigid schedule to abide by. You can have a day without having to worry about waking up on time, getting ready, or going to classes.

Now that you have so many hours in the day to fill with things, why not make reading one of those activities? You can take out a couple of hours either in the morning or in the afternoon when it is quiet around. Sit down with a book that catches your fancy and have a lovely time full of imagination and wonder!

The 21 days for a habit challenge

We are sure that your summer vacations are more than 21 days. Why don’t you take up the challenge of trying to build the habit of reading in 21 days? It will end up benefiting you immensely.

Summers are the time to reinvent yourself!

When you read new books, you gain new perspectives. You can learn more about this world and also find out where your moral compass points to. You can collect the good parts of all your favorite characters and make them a part of yourself so that by the time it is time to go to school, you will have a certain edge and charm to you that will make people want to befriend you and talk to you.

Books don’t have shelf life

With so many new shows and movies turning up on OTT platforms every day, it can get overwhelming to choose. You might also feel the need to jump on the bandwagon and watch everything that is trending. However, summer vacations are for living a slow life full of moments of contemplation. Your books will wait for you, whether you finish them in a day or a month. You can also carry them with you everywhere, away from the noise on the internet, and keep revisiting the parts that mean something to you.

Summers are when you have a lot of time to do new things and try more of the things that bring you joy. BookPal urges you to go out and try new things, and maybe join a sports club as well. But we also cannot stop stressing the importance of reading as well. Get your parents to sit down with you in the evenings with a book as well, and experience some new type of bonding.

Happy Summer Vacations!
