Book Recommendations (teenagers) for the Summer Vacation

Book Recommendations for the Summer Vacation
The summer vacations have begun and children are free to have fun and do whatever they love and enjoy. Summer means many things to different people. Mangoes, colas, ice creams, night skies,
summer outfits, and whatnot. Many parents consider summer camps for their children. Summer camps boast of various activities like sports, art, culture, etc. These camps are intended to not only keep a child active during the summer vacations but also provide them with the necessary skills for their development. Kids get to explore new things. However, the activities at these summer camps may not necessarily include reading. One could argue that the whole idea of
vacations is to stay away from books (the child’s argument, of course), but as a parent, one knows better. Summer vacation reads can be special and memorable.
Sometimes, many parents may find it difficult to inculcate the habit of reading in their children. In that case, they can opt for books in a comic format or graphic novels to create interest. Here are some good book recommendations that you can choose to read on your vacation.
1. "The Room on The Roof" by Ruskin Bond.
"The Room on The Roof" is a coming-of-age story centered on a lonely, orphaned Anglo Indian boy Rusty. At 17, he's living with his strict guardian on the outskirts of the town Dehra with the members of the British community. Plunging for the first time into the dream-bright world of the bazaar, Hindu festivals, and other aspects of Indian life, Rusty is enchanted.
2. "Peril at End House" by Agatha Christie
A Hercule Poirot detective fiction, this book is great if you're looking for a gripping crime novel. It is unpredictable and will keep you hooked throughout the end.
3. Books from the YA romance/fantasy genre novels John Green, Stephanie Meyer, Sophie Kinsella, Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, and James Dashner are a few of the best writers from this genre. You wouldn't regret reading the works of any of these authors. Their books are known for their imaginative worlds and they're fictional universes.
