Happy Birthday -Arthur Weasley !!!

Happy Birthday, Arthur Weasley!

Arthur Weasley, a loving dad, caring husband, and a loyal employee of The Ministry of Magic celebrates his birthday today!

Arthur Weasley may have existed as a quiet fatherly figure in the Wizarding World but he sure is a character that no potterhead can forget. On Arthur’s birthday, we celebrate the virtues and memories that make us admire him by going back to the Harry Potter books. A few of the many moments when he had us endeared.

1. Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

"We have a very different idea about what disgraces the name of a wizard, Malfoy."

That was at the bookstore in Diagon Alley, Arthur defended his family against Lucious Malfoy like a protective father. Arthur knew to stand up for his family which he always did.

Another converse from The Chamber of Secrets is,

Molly Weasley: "Your sons flew that car to Harry’s house and back last night! What have you got to say about that, eh?"

Arthur Weasley: "Did you really? Did it go all right? I — I mean, that — that was very wrong, boys — very wrong indeed...."

Arthur is also a fun dad who was showing a supportive attitude towards his children's mischief-making!

2. Arthur Weasely was a straightforward, law-abiding, loyal employee of The Ministry of Magic. All that he did, he did with humility and modesty. Surely, a man of principles. He is so much more than the quintessential fun dad with the red-ginger hair.

3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

“They run off eckeltricity, do they?" he said knowledgeably. "Ah yes, I can see the plugs. I collect plugs."

Arthur Weasely was fascinated by muggles! He did not ever use uncivil words like “mudbloods” and his pureblood status means nothing to him. He was ever captivated by muggle lives, he also did take up muggle studies as a student back in Hogwarts.

4. Nobody can forget how sweet of a husband he was! He married his high school sweetheart Molly who he affectionately hollers “mollywobbles” around their home. Aw! They are great parents and their hearts are always open to those who need love.
